Overton County Courthouse

 

The Overton County Historical/Genealogical Society (OCHS) meets on the 1st Tuesday night of each month at 6:00 pm at the Overton County Heritage Museum.  Everyone is invited to attend.  Membership is $10.00 per individual or $15.00 per family per year, payable January 1st.  Society newsletter is published quarterly and is included with the dues.  Payments can be mailed to the Treasurer C/O Overton County Historical Society, P O Box 753, Livingston, TN  38570.

Society Officers are:  President, Ron Goode;  Vice President, Paula Stover;  Secretary/Treasurer, Sam Hines;  Teri Goode, Membership chairperson.
Back issues of the Historical Society News Letters are available for $2.50 each or $10.00 per year.  Contact one of the Society members for more information on the back issues.

Reda Bilbrey  (Overton County Archivist) is also the Chairman of the Document Preservation Group.  They meet most Monday nights at the Courthouse Annex in the basement records room.
